About half of them on Germany's roads.  <b>However, there are a few things to consider when transporting dangerous goods:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Goods that are classified as dangerous require secure dangerous goods packaging in order to be transported. Only special hazardous goods cartons minimize the risk to people and the environment during transport<i>. <\/i> <\/p>\n<h2>Things to note for hazardous goods packaging<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bam.de\/Navigation\/DE\/Home\/home.html\"><i>The Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing<\/i><\/a><i>BAM for short,<\/i> is the competent authority for the specialist area of dangerous goods packaging. Only dangerous goods packaging and dangerous goods boxes approved and tested by BAM may be used for the shipment and transportation of dangerous goods and substances. In addition, 5 hazardous goods boxes from each batch produced are checked for their properties before the goods are dispatched to the customer.  <\/p>\n<h3>Categories of hazardous goods packaging<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Dangerous goods are assigned to three groups:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I = high risk<br \/>\nII = medium risk<br \/>\nIII = low risk<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dangerous goods packaging is also divided into three groups and assigned the performance letters X, Y and Z.<\/strong> These performance letters stand for:<\/p>\n<p>X = high risk<br \/>\nY = medium risk<br \/>\nZ = low risk<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>X-packaging can contain dangerous goods from packing groups I, II and III.<\/li>\n<li>Y-packaging can only contain dangerous goods from packing groups II and III.<\/li>\n<li>A Z-packaging can only contain dangerous goods of packing group III.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Any approved and manufactured dangerous goods packaging used for dangerous goods must be marked with a UN symbol followed by the letter and number code described above. Only then is a dangerous goods carton also permissible according to UN guidelines. <\/p>\n<h2>Hazardous goods boxes from HvC<\/h2>\n<p>The hazardous goods packaging manufactured by HvC is classified as \"Y\" packaging.  <b>Accordingly, HvC's dangerous goods cartons can be used to transport goods of the medium (II) and low hazard group (III) are packed and transported.<\/b><\/p>\n<h3>Extra tip<\/h3>\n<p>Of course, you can also use our hazardous goods packaging for non-hazardous freight.
