Trays for dairy products or trays are collective packaging for a wide range of cup variants. It is also referred to as open packaging that can hold several individual packs. The trays are available for all possible cup shapes and sizes. This applies in particular to the edge of the trays, the height of which is adapted to the products.

The most common form of outer packaging or tray is the flat cardboard box, which can hold up to 20 units. Larger trays for cups are also called “cup pallets”. However, there are also trays for 4, 6, 12 or 20 cups, and sometimes also for cans. The size of the outer packaging for 6 cups is popularly known as a six-pack.

There are virtually no limits to the variety of designs with colors, shapes and much more. The aim is to highlight the product on the shelf with the help of the trays and thus encourage the customer to buy.

However, such trays and crates for dairy products are not only used as an advertising medium, but above all to ensure the safe transportation of goods. The goods (yoghurt pots) are additionally secured by a perforated cover plate, which means that the packaging does not need to be covered. Furthermore, trays for dairy products ensure the functionality of the fully automated production line in dairies, as the trays are usually erected using automatic machines. However, trays can also be glued by us as required in order to erect them either manually or by machine. In general, the trays for dairy products are a handy solution made of solid board that also meets all the necessary requirements.
