From print data to the board sheet

Before printing, format, bleed, colour spaces, image resolution, fonts and technical spot colours are checked. The designs are then arranged on the sheet so that printing, die cutting and material use work together effectively.

The board surface affects colour appearance, reproduction of detail and drying. The desired appearance should therefore always be assessed on the material actually intended for the job.

Coordinate colour reliably

Brand colours require clear target values and an appropriate approval process. Depending on the project, a proof, press proof or reference sample may be used. Measurements support process control but do not replace jointly defining the desired visual result.

Printing is part of the overall process

Depending on the order, offset printing is followed by varnishing, die cutting, embossing and gluing. Creases, gluing areas, barcodes and relevant labelling must therefore be considered at the prepress stage.

HvC combines packaging development, offset printing and mechanical converting at its Windeck site. External specialist finishing can be coordinated through partners for individual projects. Filling or packing end products is not part of our offering.
