Material, sheet format, layout, quantity and preferred date form part of the discussion. For combined printing and die-cutting jobs, we assess the two stages separately: a format that can be printed cannot automatically be die-cut.

Can HvC contract die-cut sheets that have already been printed?+

Yes. After checking the format, material, die-cutting data and tooling, HvC can also convert supplied sheets.

Why is creasing important for folding cartons?+

Correctly matched creasing allows board to fold and erect cleanly without uncontrolled cracking.

Are custom cutting dies possible?+

Yes. Die-cutting contours are produced to match the approved packaging structure.

What should we agree before delivering printed sheets?+

Please specify the sheet format, material, quantity, print layout and preferred date, and send the available die-cutting files. Let us know whether a cutting die already exists. Tool compatibility, sheet delivery and the required output format are clarified before the order.
